Let’s take a look at what is produced in this ecosystem of Ethereum-based token standards from Turkey.

1- Creative urban illustrator Tarık Tolunay sold the first artwork from Turkey.

The work of city illustrator Tarık Tolunay, who depicted Eminönü, Historical Galata, and Karaköy as a pandemic work, found its seller for $36.000, or 20 Ethereum, based on the valuation of the day. The fact that the product is digitally signed and has an originality that cannot be copied within the framework of NFT attracted attention and was purchased by the Iranian collector.

2- Journalist Cüneyt Özdemir sold Turkey’s most expensive tweet.

Turkish Journalist Cüneyt Özdemir’s tweet, which he offered for sale as NFT, was sold at 5.9 Ethereum, which corresponds to $10,000 with the valuation of the day. Cüneyt Özdemir announced on his Twitter account that he would support education by donating this income to the Darüşşafaka Society, a non-governmental organization with the mission of equality of opportunity in education.

3- A pixel image of designer Murat Pak was sold at the NFT auction.

Murat Pak, known as a crypto artist and making an impression with his works, is the second-best-selling artist in NFT. Murat Pak is considered the most expensive artist in the crypto world, with a total of 268 different artworks sold for $1 million in the NFT world. The “Pixel” artwork, which Murat Pak created as a pixel image, was sold at the NFT auction for $1.36 million after a 90-minute process

4- Turkish Writer Zeynep Bugay’s story “Mother” became the first NFT sold in the field of literature.

The story “Mother,” which is the release story of Zeynep Bugay’s book “The Mystery of Proti Island,” which she wrote in fantastic style in the past months, and which is not included in the book, was put up for sale in the NFT world. The work broke new ground in the Turkish literature world by being sold for $12,400, that is, 3 Ethereum, according to the valuation of the day.

5- Turkish Cook Nusret Gökçe’s past tweet was sold as NFT.

Announcing himself as Salt Bae, Nusret is among the names that stepped into the world of NFT. He wanted to sell a tweet he posted in 2017 as an NFT work and published his work on the Valuables platform. The tweet, which was NFT, included a video of gold-plated meats. This piece found a seller for about $6,000.
